A. Masso Answers; Diet and exercise can help reduce the appearance of cellulite by reducing fat and toning body. However, getting rid of cellulite pockets completely, particularly after it sets in (third stage), appears to be nearly impossible.
Exercises are most effective if done right after child birth (first stage) or when a person goes through a a drastic weight lose via a diet.
Yoga students who continue yoga during and after childbirth pick up minimum stretch mark after effects.
Cellulites are pockets of old fat tissues that have become somewhat detached from metastasis process and stored seemingly for an endless period in pockets surrounded by tissues.
The reason for that maybe, cellulite are stored calorie producing substances that lost their function to be cycled as calorie source, so they became somewhat underused, detached and then stored as unhealthy pockets of fat.
Lets make this a little clearer. You stored fat during your pregnancy instictively/naturally to ready your pregnant self for emergencies and famine that never came. If you neglected post pregnancy restoration exercises to return your body to its pre pregnancy form as soon as possible, then you may loose the chance to get rid of the stored fat without drastic measures.
Now, it is harder to reconnect and uptake all that unused, stored sources of calorie. While, it is not difficult to assume that some of these unused tissues loose their connective supply and stay in the same pockets, potentially turning into cellulite and even toxins sometime later.
Yoga practice , or any other fat burning, hormone inducing exercise, right after pregnancy or drastic weight lose programs, can diminish the stretch marks thus cellulite. Only if you let the effects of pregnancy endure for a longer period of time, you will have those problems persist.
Fat, if it is recycled and refreshed periodically is a beautiful and beneficial addition to body. Eventually, through under-use, we loose the pathway to metabolize our stored fat for catabolism, anabolism etc...and end up storing enduring fat tissues.
Some cultures provide beneficial mandates to restore both pathways to its youthful stage. Muslims fast from dawn to dusk for an entire month in a year. Other religions and orders have their own instructions, exclude certain food or drinks for periods.
Fasting causes the body’s metastasis function switch into emergency mode. To seek and find pathways to calorie sources other than primary digestive system which will remain empty due to fasting and eventually to find and restore pathways that lead to plentiful stored fat. Next is to continue using and keeping the access pathways open and burn stored fat by having a proper diet.

Q. Martiana Asks; Is there a link between cancer and Cellulite, specially in breast area for women?
A. Masso Answers; I can't really answer this question without violating medical advice rules. I heard recently in popular media that accumulation of excessive amount of fat for a long period, can contribute to development/ redevelopment of cancer. Also, breast cancer is not a gender specific ailment. there are plenty of men that get breast cancer. 25.000 , mostly overweight men are diagnosed per year in US alone.
I assume that stored fat , if it stays isolated in the body for a long period of time , can substanially change and become toxic. This assumption maybe true in our time more than ever, since we have lot more toxic and unconventional chemical compounds in our environment than before. Fat may allow these compounds to be stored in pouches right next to our bodies for long period of time. I imagine these pouches will leak and contaminate nearby cells.
It would be very interesting if someone can provide reliable information/links in this area.
